This indie "doujin" fighting game from the late '00s is impressive in not only being from a team of unknowns that probably had a budget of close to or at 0, but also for stretching the capabilities of Enterbrain's "Fighter Maker" to the max.

It has a humble roster of just six fighters, but pretty well-animated and with an expansive roster of moves. The highlight is the ability to chain some pretty visually impressive combos that get to Marvel vs Capcom levels of elaborate. I have no clue what the story is as it's all in Japanese and there's very little online documentation of this game, but Fighter Maker was pretty forward-thinking in terms of programming and the game runs just fine on Windows 10 and automatically picks up most USB controllers.

The aesthetic theme is cute and sexy animu girls, but it doesn't get more salacious than some revealing outfits and panty flashing here and there (nowhere near across the Plumflower  line).  Each girl has a little animated ending of their own after you fight through the other five. In terms of gameplay I'd generally compare it to Darkstalkers as each character usually doesn't have "straightforward" moves and you have to do some memorizing of how they come out.

This was released in 2009/2010 and it seems developer 500MIPS no longer has their original site or maintains a web presence that I can find. You can still find the game floating around for download at other sites, but there are various versions and the most complete one seems to be 1.6. Older versions reportedly have problems with frame rate and balance, and are missing content (including probably the most popular playable character).
